Description
Brad Fresenburg holds an extension and research position in turfgrass management. Recently, he began teaching athletic field maintenance in the Advanced Turf class. He supervises the day-to-day operations of the MU Turfgrass Research Center and advises the MU Athletic Department on athletic field maintenance and development. His activities at the research center include the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program trials, product testing and annual field day activities.

He directs students with turfgrass related special problem assignments and oversees the intern program for students interested in sports field management. He also teaches certification and re-certification classes for the Pesticide Applicators Training Program in Ornamentals and Turf.

Presently, he is developing a state-wide extension program that relates primarily to the maintenance and management of sports fields and golf courses.
