Description
Anne McKendry has a research/teaching appointment in soft red winter wheat breeding and genetics. Her research foci are in breeding methodology, wheat quality and the genetics of host plant disease resistance. A current area of emphasis is on identification, genetic analyses and use of new sources of resistance to Fusarium head blight (scab) in wheat. She teaches Introduction to Field Crop Breeding, Advanced Plant Breeding, Genetics of Agricultural Plants and Animals, and Undergraduate Seminar.
