Assistantships
Graduate students in the DPS are eligible for Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) awarded by the division or supported by extramural funds, such as research grants. The GRAs include an annual stipend and eligibility for the University's graduate student accident and sickness insurance plan.
Assistantships of at least one-quarter time carry a waiver of in-state and out-of-state educational fees. The amount of the stipend is competitive with those offered by other outstanding institutions and varies with the specific research program.
Graduate Research Assistantships are available to work with many faculty in the Division. Explore the faculty Web pages to learn of the diverse research programs of our faculty.
