Research Interests
My major interests are
to understand how plants resist cyst nematodes on a molecular level.
Currently, my research is focused on the identification and characterization
of the soybean cyst nematode resistance gene, Rhg4, in soybean.
In addition, I am characterizing gene expression changes in response
to nematode infection in susceptible and resistant plants to identify
downstream components of the soybean resistance response to nematodes.
