Interdisciplinary
Life Sciences Training at
University of Missouri
Research in molecular plant-nematode
interactions provides exciting opportunities for scientists in training!
Studies in plant-nematode interactions are not only uncovering the
molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis and host responses to infection
but also provide excellent opportunities to address basic questions
in plant biology and consequently is adding valuable information to
our understanding of plant development, physiology, cellular, and
molecular biology. Our system also serves as an exceptional teaching
tool to introduce students to the diverse interactions of plants with
other organisms and provides unique opportunities for interdisciplinary
undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral
training in the life sciences at the University
of Missouri. Interested students and post-docs should
visit the following websites and contact me directly for more information
