Nutrient Management Planning Courses in April and May

A nutrient management course targeted at people interested in writing nutrient management plans will be held in Columbia Missouri. The course is comprised of two three-day sessions covering the basic concepts of nutrient management on a farm.  The classroom session will be from 10 AM April 22 to 2:30 PM April 24, 2008. Course participants then attend one of two field and calculation sessions held either May 12 to 14 or May 14 to 16, 2008. The field and calculation sessions start at 1:00 PM the first day and finish at noon on the third day.

This course is recommended by Missouri NRCS for TSP’s writing CNMP’s.  For Certified Crop Advisors we have applied for 6 Soil and Water CEU’s and 22 Nutrient Management CEU’s. For waste waste water and concentrated animal feeding operation operators we have applied for 30 Wastewater Operator CEU’s; 36.5 CAFO Operator CEU’s, This course will be held at The Missouri Cattlemen’s Association Building, 2306 Bluff Creek Dr., Columbia, MO.
