Undergraduate Financial Assistance
Scholarships
Your college education will be one of the most important financial investments you make during your life. Scholarships are one way to pay for college, and the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) offers you one of the strongest scholarship programs at MU.
Each year, CAFNR awards more than $750,000 in scholarships; more than half of which is awarded to incoming freshmen. CAFNR scholarships also are available to transfer and continuing students, and many departments have scholarships specifically for their students. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $3,500 annually.
If you qualify for the MU Curators Scholar Award (requires an ACT score of 28 or higher and top 5 percent of your Missouri high school graduating class), and enroll as a CAFNR student, CAFNR will automatically award you an additional $1,000 scholarship, renewable for up to three years.
To be eligible for consideration, you must:
- Complete an application for Upperclass Scholarship.
- Submit the MU scholarship application.
- Apply for admission to MU.
The scholarship deadline for entering freshmen is Dec. 1 during your senior year in high school. Transfer and continuing students must submit their applications by Feb. 1 to be eligible for consideration.
